Stacy is a rockstar!
*Maya, eighteen and adrift, stood on the precipice of adulthood. Foster care had been a series of temporary landings, each goodbye leaving her clutching questions tighter than worn suitcases. Where would she live? How would she navigate bills, taxes, the bewildering alphabet soup of adulthood? Her reflection in the bus window blurred, distorted by uncertainty.
Her case manager told her about Grace365, a beacon of hope. Stepping inside the Grace365 community center for her first life skills class (we call the monthly event Second Saturday) she wasn't greeted by sterile walls, but by the welcoming arms of Stacy, our founder, who had walked a similar path in foster care.
Around the table sat others juggling many anxieties. *Tim, navigating the labyrinth of college applications. *Amira, conquering the fear of driving lessons. The clinking of forks and mumbled jokes were a symphony of shared struggles, blooming into laughter and the unexpected comfort of camaraderie.
Grace365 wasn't just a haven, it was a map. Workshops held by seasoned life-navigators dispelled financial confusion. Mentors, veterans of the independence wars, walked Maya through job applications and bank accounts. But more than knowledge, they offered kinship. Shared movie nights under fairy lights, cooking classes leading to a shared meal, the quiet solace of a whispered "You're not alone."
Amplify Grace365 with your donation today, and help turn Maya's question marks into independence, knowledge, and her own village with kids going through the same as she.
For $134.14, you can provide essential workshops, a supportive community, and a path to a brighter future."
Will you amplify their haven today and give another child the gift of belonging? Donate now and watch smiles blossom where question marks once grew.
Will you donate today and help another child feel safe?

Each Second Saturday event includes a cooking lesson followed by a meal! This particular meal was a yummy Chinese dish that focused on dicing veggies! ... See MoreSee Less
