Table of Grace
LaShonda K. Hodges has been employed at Central Texas Table of Grace from the time it opened. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Phoenix, and a Master of Science in Counseling with the focus in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University. While completing her master’s program she served part-time as a Direct Care team member. She also worked full-time in a dental practice as the first point of contact. During her internship in counseling, she worked with clients from youth to adults. With her degree’s she has brought to her current position as the Case Manager, a counseling experience, and a dedication to advocating for youth.
LaShonda’s has molded her position into her own with the support of CEO, Stacy Johnson. She has created various support programs. One of those is the mentorship program called “Extended Hands of Grace.” The program is meant to connect each youth with a mentor who serves an important support role. Furthermore, LaShonda’s focus is centered around empowering youth, and pushing an education. The goal is for each youth to gain the tools needed to succeed and earn a high school diploma. LaShonda works closely with Child Protective Services, CASA volunteers, Attorney’s, and community volunteers.
LaShonda is an avid book reader. She also has her own YouTube channel that features reviews and information on various planners, specially from Japan. She is the sole moderator of a Facebook group for Japanese planners with a membership growth of over 4K members from around the world.
