Maribel Garcia, originally from South Texas, is the dedicated Program Director at Central Texas Table of Grace. She brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting youth and families in the foster care system. Maribel earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Brownsville, which laid a strong foundation for her career in child welfare and foster care.

Maribel began her career in 2006 with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Brownsville, Texas, where she served as a Conservatorship Specialist across multiple counties. In 2009, she transitioned to a child-placing agency, marking a significant turning point in her career. It was here that Maribel discovered her true passion for working with children and families in need.

Maribel is deeply committed to her work, demonstrating a profound love for the youth and families she serves. Her extensive experience in foster care has made her a valuable leader and advocate at Central Texas Table of Grace, where she continues to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those she works with.

In 2015, Maribel moved to Pflugerville, Texas, where she continues to reside with her husband, son, and their three dogs; her daughter is away at college. In her free time, Maribel enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She loves playing volleyball, having family game nights, watching football, and simply spending quality time with loved ones.
