New Community Center
In December 2021, Central Texas Table of Grace reached a major milestone with the purchase of a 2.1-acre property in Round Rock. This former residential property includes a beautiful home that we have converted to a community center that serves as the headquarters for Grace365. This new administrative hub has allowed us to provide meals and life skills classes, host volunteers, conduct employee/volunteer training, host social and recreational events for both foster kids and youth, and facilitate our storage and shelter inventory system on-site. Our plan is to continue to develop our property to accommodate on-site housing for our young adults, thus providing more program sustainability and to deepen connections between our youth, our staff, and our support community.
Vision of a Micro-Community
Central Texas Table of Grace is currently developing an expansion plan for each of its programs. The new property will allow us to double our SIL placements to at least 20 with the completion of a micro-community focused on serving young adults who have aged out of foster care. Not only will this on-site housing community support more financial sustainability for Grace365, but it will also help us deepen connections between our youth, our staff, and our support community.
