A few weeks ago I made strawberry cheesecakes for the kids. About a week later I was trying to encourage one of my kids to make a good choice regarding going to his therapy appointment. Well, he wasn’t having it, so I decided to try bribery. I asked him what I could do to get him to go. He said he would go if I made him his VERY OWN cheesecake. Done. But then I felt like it would be unfair to the other kids since they were going to therapy also, so I told them they could all pick what flavor they wanted and I would make them their own mini-cheesecakes. So, on Labor Day I spent 8 hours in the kitchen making Turtle, Pumpkin Spice, Cherry, Strawberry, and Kiwi-Lime cheesecakes (with a little help from my other half Bill Krassner) for my 13 dear children. They turned out so good I just had to brag about them on Facebook. If I didn’t have the shelter, maybe I would open a bakery.
